My uncle just picked up a c4s for 40K…
Needed a clutch, that’s about it.
He put on turbo suspension, turbo brakes already. Car is solid.

My chip is supposed to put me to 340 hp, I have the 280 cams and a K&N filter, so Id say im making 350 ish hp in a 3620 lb car.
I would think it would be a decent match up
edit: stock e34 m5 trap is in the 100-101 range
